Football for Freedom,Unity and Solidarity

Football for Freedom, Unity and Solidarity: Sports 4 Development,
The Football for Freedom, Unity & Solidarity: S4D program, launched in 2016, addresses the critical issues of discrimination against girl child in rural Rajasthan, particularly in the Ajmer district. This initiative uses football as a transformative tool to empower girls, providing them with a platform to play, express themselves, assert their rights and reclaim their childhoods. By claiming public spaces for physical activity and leadership development. Girls enhance their athletic abilities and break the cultural barriers that perpetuates cycles of illiteracy and economic hardship associated with early marriages, enabling girls to reclaim their childhood and choose their futures. The community football grounds symbolizes empowerment and fosters unity among participants, transforming these spaces into venues for growth and celebration.
